MICHELLE JOHNSON has been painting faces, professionally, for more than 15 years. She is the founder and president of Painted Faces Inc., which not only offers artistic design and face painting skills, but a full range of face painting supplies. Michelle is widely recognized as a painter of great speed, imaginative design and delightful humor. She has created painted faces at festivals, corporate events, schools, private homes and in her own local studio; just to name a few. Michelle also teaches face painting, at all levels, from beginning to those professionals who would like to review the latest techniques and products available. Michelle works regularly in the Baltimore, Washington, and Annapolis areas.

MARY ELLEN TASILLO is a professional and licensed make up artist. She specializes in television and video production. Currently, she is a full-time make up artist at FOX CABLE NEWS CHANNEL in Washington, D.C., where she makes "camera-ready" numerous political and governmental officials as well as news casting talents.

Mary Ellen introduced the innovative art of airbrushing techniques to television stations before high-definition television became a standard in the industry. She consults in the sales and application of airbrush make up.

Mary Ellen has numerous credits in news broadcasting and video filming including: FOX NEWS SUNDAY (9 years), the Christian Broadcasting Network, the Commerce Department, and Seventh Day Adventist World News with Paula Webber, MSNBC, MCI, the Discovery Channel and CSPAN.

Mary Ellen is a licensed aesthetician (skin care specialists), certified by the Von Lee International School of Aesthetics, Inc., MD. She continues to consult in this area.

ROGER BENNETT RIGGLE has been a licensed, professional make up artist for over 20 years. He began at Kinetic Artistry, a theatrical supply house in Takoma Park, MD.

Roger has hosted numerous Washington , D.C instructional seminars for area artists; everything from beauty and photography make up to Halloween transformations and special effects make up techniques. During his 10 years there, Roger managed the make up department -7 different lines; sales, consultation and artistry.

Roger worked for over 10 years as the make up artist for Tom Radcliffe, a leader in headshot photography at the Point of View Studio also in Takoma Park, MD. Roger applied the photographic make up to thousands of actors, sports celebrities, musicians and opera singers.

Roger specializes in Halloween make-overs and the transforming of personalities for diverse, special events. In addition, Roger has created special make up effects for disaster simulation used in the training of nurses, doctors and EMS personnel. His credits include triage exercises at the Baltimore/Washington International Airport, for the Secret Service, and for the UHUHS military training facility. Roger has also designed for numerous theatrical productions which entails researching and articulating the authenticity of period styles.

Roger has a degree in drama from the Catholic University of America, Washington, D.C. and, since 1978, has choreographed, directed and produced numerous operas and musical theatre productions. For eight years, Roger was the Associate Producer of TheatreFest,
theatre-in-residence program, at Montclair State University , Montclair, N.J. Roger has worked with many celebrities including: Leslie Uggams, Susan Lucci, Debbie Reynolds, Kim Zimmer, Pattie LuPone and Betty Buckley.

Roger has directed operas at the annual Amalfi Music Festival in Italy . He is a member of the Society of Stage Directors and Choreographers.

Roger is the make up consultant for Parlights, Inc. in Frederick, MD, a leading theatrical supply house for the greater Washington/Baltimore areas.

CARLA DAKIN is a licensed make up artist and aesthetician, with extensive experience in hair styling. She currently is employed in the television/video/film industry where she specializes in airbrushing in response to the introduction of high definition television. Among her clients are: The Fox News Channel, Fox Sports Channel, ABC, MSNBC, ESPN, CSPAN, PBS, CBN, The Travel Channel and The National Geographic Channels; in addition to many independent producers and any number of national politicians, and television celebrities.

Carla also works for several well known area photographers and print advertisers. She conducts seminars and teaches on a regular basis, where her clients range from high schools, prep schools, colleges, and The Girl Scouts to The Spy Museum in Washington, DC.

Carla has 15 years experience in such things as: theatrical make up, design and application of prosthetics and facial hair, wigs and wig styling, fantasy/Moulage, drag queens, beauty, weddings, and paramedical camouflage, used in disaster simulation training .

Carla is familiar with a wide range of products and techniques and is trained in: facials, glycolic peels, waxing, skin care, Swedish massage and other body treatments.

She has worked in retail and sales and is certified by both Dermalogica and Hylunia.
